Fallen Heros 5K Run - September 11, 2024
On Saturday, September 7th, 2024 members of the East Franklin Fire Department honored the 40th birthday of Kevin Apuzzio, by running the fallen heroes 5k in Belmar, NJ with the friends and family of Kevin.
A good time was had by all and we know our brother, hero and friend Kevin was looking over us and smiling. Happy 40th birthday Kevin Apuzzio, always by our side!
2nd Annual Training Day - October 5th, 2019
The Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation is holding it's 2nd annual Training Day on October 5th. This year we will have both fire and ems lecture series.
Food Truck Mash-Up - June 2nd, 2018

1st Annual Training Day - December 9th 2018
First annual Kevin Apuzzio Foundation Training Seminar, featuring training classes from Lt. Shawn Donovan (Boston FD) and Chief Mike Lombardo (Buffalo FD).
$20 includes continental breakfast, lunch and full day class with 2 top instructors coming in to NJ just for this class. This is meant to offer low-cost/high-quality training to firefighters as part of the Kevin Apuzzio Foundation's mission to help other first responders.
Even if you aren't interested, please share to help other fire fighters who may be.
10 Year Anniversary Memorial - April 11th, 2016
On April 11, 2016 the East Franklin Fire Department will be hosting a memorial service to mark the 10th anniversary of Kevin's Line of Duty Death. The event, beginning at 7:00 PM, is open to the public. Please note that, if you plan to attend, you should arrive before 6:30 PM as Pine Grove Avenue will be closed to traffic from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
First Responders Rutgers Basketball Game - March 1st, 2014
To recognize the dedicated efforts of first responders (Police/Fire/EMS) and raise awareness of the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation and its mission, the Rutgers Scarlet Knight's Men's Basketball Team is proudly hosting the Kevin Apuzzio Memorial Foundation's First Responders Game.
